Another ratings controversy: Killer 7 this time
By Nintendude under Killer 7, Gaming News
We all have heard about the “hot coffe” controversy and how people managed to take advantage of videogames popularity to appear on tv. In the end, GTA got an AO rating and i think we all knew it wouldn´t end there.
Florida attourney, Jack Thompson who has been involved in several cases against videogames has new target: Killer7. He´s made a petition to the ESRB to change Killer 7´s rating form M (Mature) to AO.
i Think it´s ok to give the games an AO rating if they deserve it but is there something in Killer 7 that might offend a 17+ year old? I don´t think so.
I think we´ll be seeing more on this on the next daysso stay tuned. IGN has excerpts from the e-mail Thompson sent to Patricia Vance, president of the ESRB.
