Matt Casamassina, IGNCube editor in chief has hinted that an announcement concerning the Nintendo Revolution will be made in the next few days / weeks. Matt has a section at IGN called mailbag where he answers fan mail, recently he wrote this:

Q: When will more revolution news be announced?

A: Shortly after the Leipzig Games Convention (Aug 17th). I don’t have an exact time frame — it could be a day or a week, but I don’t expect it will be much longer.

After that:

Q: In your last mailbox you mentioned that there would be more information about the revolution shortly after Leipzig. How educated of a guess is this?

A: I wouldn’t call it a guess.

Ok, lets forget about the bad news. Nintendo confirmed today the rumors we´ve been hearing about all week. The DS price will drop 20 bucks this week with the release of Nintendogs. This means the handheld will cost $130 USD from now on.

The price drop will be universal, meaning that you can also expect to see it on other countries and currencies.

This are great news for those expecting Nintendogs and Advance Wars: Dual Strike and i think it might have a possitive effect on the worldwide DS sales.

Today in Nintendo news, the company has made a couple of announcements with both, bad and good news for us Nintendo fans.

The bad news is The legend of Zelda: Twlight Princess launch has been delayed to some point after March 2006. The game was expected to be the king of the holiday season and most stores were already listing it for November.

It seems like the game needs more developing time and they want to pulish the last single detail. I think we will find out more about the reason for this delay on the TGS. I wonder what will Nintendo do now for the holidays, i mean, Metroid Prime Hunters is coming on October(hopefully), the new pokémon versions also got pushed back and i don´t see another big game coming.

Yes, that is a godzilla sized bowser. You might have already seen some glitches and cool stuff for Super Smash Bros meele wich being one of the most played games ever has been studied by people who wants to know every litle secret of the game.

With some help of the debug menu, the guys at n-philes have a really good article on the subject. From the 60 existing stages to the 6 player mode there´s some really cool stuff hidden in your SSBM copy, stuff you weren´t supposed to see.

Eiji Aonuma, director of both Wind Waker and Twilight Princess (among others) has revealed to an Latin American magazine (Club Nintendo i´m guessing) he´ll be directing the first Zelda game for the Revolution.

These are not amazing news since he´s been deeply involved with pretty much every Zelda game since Ocarina of time but if they already have a director we can guess the game is already on the works.

The instructions are easy to follow and very detailed so i think they are not to diificult to build (except if happen to be ungifted for this kind of stuff just like me).
