Where do babies come fromThis game is so fun and it hasn´t even been released yet. “Where do babies come from?” is the sequel of one of the early DS games: Feel the magic (or Project Rub).

Sega has launched the official japanese site featuring some screenshots, profiles, wallpapers and insanely fun background music.

Go check it out, it´s fun even if you don´t understand japanese like me.

Zoo Tycoon DS screenshots

Zoo Tycoon

THQ has released a bundle of Zoo Tycoon´s screens. The game will be pretty much like the PC version, you have to manage your own zoo, install the cages and stop the animals from eating the visitors. Looks like a fun game for a portable system.

NFL´s preseason starts this weekend and as every year, we´ll be seeing a new Madden game. This year´s version come with improved passing mechanics. If you´ve ever played a football game you know 90% of the chosen plays are passes so, this new system might be useful.

Game Trailers has a 3 minutes video preview on the game and if you are planning to get Madden 06 you have to check it out. Just follow the link.

Never get lost again: GPS for the DS

By Nintendude under Homebrew, GPS, Nintendo DS
DS GPS

Oh my god, the home-made games and applications are on a great moment and the projects will just keep on growing hopefully.

Now we have a GPS for the DS. It uses Google Maps to get the information and images of the adress you want. It has some limitations but is a wonderful idea, imagine what is going to be like when people can work on projects with the Wi Fi connection.

New Metroid Prime 3 Info

Metroid PrimeMetroid Prime 3 will be the last game of the trilogy and is coming for Nintendo Revolution. We knew pretty much nothing about the game except for the small and not very useful video Nintendo showed at e3.

Luminoth Temple had an exclusive interview with one of the developers who gave a couple details and general info on the game.

Metroid Prime 3 will be First person shooter as expected, “We don’t plan on using a third-person camera for the times when Samus is in a suit”. Dide he just gave a hint on Samus not wearing a suit at some point of the game? Maybe.

Expect to see some known enemies and concepts, such as Phazon, visual improvements and a lot of new weapons.

The game will have basically the same gameplay but it will also take advantage of the controller´s features wich of course we don´t know yet. “We plan on taking advantage of a number of new features in the Revolution, including the controller”

The game will launch on 2006, probably as one of the first games for the Revolution.

“Expand the definition of gaming”…Revolution conference?

Nintendo RevolutionI don´t want to get your hopes up guys but there is a tiny chance we´ll be getting some info on the Nintendo Revolution sooner than expected.

There´s a game convention in Germany this month (August 18th - 21st) and as you can see there´s a Nintendo 60 minutes conference scheduled for August 17th at 10:30 AM.

This wouldn´t be a big deal if the name of the conference wasn´t “Expand the definition of gaming”, but it is and we might get some details on the Revolution.

Cross your fingers but don´t jump out the window if here is not a lot of relevant information revealed.

dsHeretic: Another homebrew game for the DS

By Nintendude under Homebrew, Nintendo DS

dsHeretic

Making your own games for the Nintendo DS isn´t easy, however, there are a lot of interesting projects around. dsHeretic is one of these projects, basically, quoting it´s developer´s words, dsHeretic is “a source port of the classic Raven game Heretic to the Nintendo DS”.

Heretic is a First Person Shooter based on the Doom engine, the original version was released on 1994.

You can visit the official project site but don´t expect any downloads yet.

Build your own Nintendo characters

By Nintendude under Oddities

BowserThis might be old news (it looks like it is) but i hadn´t seen it until today so here you go.

This site has a lot of Nintendo characters paper models so you can build your super cool paper pikmins with your own hands.

You just have to print the models or use them as a guide, turn off you computer and start doing some work with your hands just like the old days.

There are some pretty good ones, i might even try Goomba or Bowser, i´ll post the pics if they end up looking ok (wich i guess they won´t because i´ve never been good at this kind of stuff).

Nintendo Revolution new pic?

By Nintendude under Nintendo Revolution
Nintendo Revolution

The image above has popped up on the internet today. According to Joystiqs´s informant, the pic represents “a component of the Revolution’s interface”. My guess is that the pic is as fake as all the controller pics that have been showing up lately. It certainly can´t be the DVD Player since we already know that it´s going to be internal.

If it´s real well…i don´t have idea what it might be.
