The upcoming version of Animal Crossing for the Nintendo DS has been renamed and will be called Animal Crossing: Wild World frmo now on.

The game will feature a wi-fi multiplayer version of the popular Gamecube game where you had to live on a small town taking the role of an animal and work to make a living.

The game is expected for holiday season in the US although we know this could change any time.
