This scan shows what Final Fantasy III for the DS is going to look like. It remindes me a bit to Crystal Chronicles but it looks great. Looks like the only thing Square Enix is using is the general story, the game looks totally different and that is appreciated since a lot of people (including me) were tired of getting the same graphics on every single remake.

Remember Mario Paint? that amazing snes game wich came with a mouse where you were able to let the artist you have inside go wild and you could squash some flies and even compose music?. Well if you enjoyed it as much as i did get ready because according to Spong a Mario Paint version is coming to both the DS and the nintendo revolution.
Even when this is just a rumor, the ds version would totally make sense, it´s exactly the kind of innovative game Nintendo likes for the DS and with the touch screen you have exactly what is needed for this game.
According to Spong you are going to be able to share your work with your friends and connect the DS version with the revolution one as well as some other features.

Worth 1000 is running a pokemon photoshop contest, the idea is that you have to show how would a real pokemon would look like. Nintendo of Japan has launched the official pokemon mysterious dungeon minisite. There´s not a lot to see, just a few screenshots wich you probably have already seen if you´ve been following this game and some artwork.
If you are like me and don´t know japanese, check out the translation of the information page, as usual, this is not a great translation but it can give you a general idea of what the game is about.
As expected, another partnership has been announced by Nintendo to offer free wi fi access to DS gamers. Nintendo of Canada and Fatport announced they will be providing free hostspots at several canadian locations such as shops and hotels. Check out the full list here.
Extra details and hopefully, other partenrships will be announced soon, Nintendo is making a great job and i think this is going to be very benefical for the DS, if the wi fi network succeds, more developers will want to join and we will start to see great online games.

IGN has revealed the first pictures of the DS Rumble pack. As we already knew, this accesorie will be packed with Metroid Prime pinball wich by the way will be launching next week.
The rumble pack looks exactly like a GBA cartridge and shoves into the slot for those games. Before you try it, the rumble pack does nothing if you insert it into a regular GBA / SP / Micro.
More games are planned to support the rumble pack capabilities in the future and i´m sure it will be sold separately at some point.

Nintendo has made a deal with Wayport, a wi fi provider in the US to start offering free wi fi “hotspots” to DS owners at McDonalds restaurants.
This means you will be able to go to your closest McDonalds, get your food and play with your DS, not exactly what the doctor recommended for your overweight problem.
We will se more parterships like this in the future, Nintendo is making great efforts for the wifi network to succed, according to IGN the details of this partnership wll be published soon at Nintendo´s official wi-fi website.
The network will be launched on November 14th, i´m guessing the service at McDonalds will be available then.
