wifi settings

This picture was taken at the digital life show last friday by a guy named “Apreche”, here we can see some details of the interface wich will be used to connect to the Wi Fi network. The full set of images can be found here.

Joystiq has an interesting analysis of the pictures, apparently, security could be an issue if the network indeed uses the protocol showed on this pictures (WEP). Check out the comments too, you will find some useful info if you are planning on playing via wifi with your DS.

Spielberg to direct EA games

By Nintendude under EA, Steven Spielberg, Gaming News

Hollywood directors love videogames. A few weeks ago Peter Jackson signed a deal to produce the Halo movie wich will be hitting theaters on 2007, now EA has announced that Steven Spielberg will be directing 3 games for the in the next few years, these games will not be movie spin-offs, they´ll be original ideas and concepts specially written by Spielberg for the games.

There was no word on what kinf of projects Spielberg will work on but i´m sure we can expect games with a really deep storyline, some fiction elements and a lot of full motion videos. Hopefully some of these projects will see the light on Nintendo´s consoles.

nes micro

Throw away your DS, PSP and even the micro. Here´s the coolest portable console ever, the NES micro!. A guy with a lot of free time named Ben Heckerndorm has built this portable NES system.

Ok maybe it´s not that portable and you will need some extra space for the cartridges but it is the coolest NES mod we´ve seen in a while.

Check out the full picture gallery and an explanation of how he built it at his website.

Game boy micro Pikachu edition

By Nintendude under Pikachu, Pokemon, Game Boy Micro

pikachu microA Game boy micro special edition will be launched on November 17th, at least on Japan, as you can see in the picture, this micro will feature pikachu right above the main buttons, it´s not as cool as the n64 pikachu edition but i´m sure a lot of pokémon fans will be getting it.

I´ts been a month since the gbm launched in Japan and over 200,000 have been sold, this are great news for Nintendo considering that they are actually selling a new version of a pretty old but still fun console.

It is unknown if the pikachu edition micro will be released on the US.
