Megaman might join Smash Bros Brawl

By Nintendude under Megaman, Capcom, Super Smash Bros Brawl, Wii

mega_superdef.jpgI really hope this turns out to be true and confirms SSBB as the best game ever. I was talking via IM with a source very close to a Capcom developer and got som interesting news, here´s the excerpt. (N is Me)

N: so…any news on the capcom front?
Y: i did hear something interesting last week
Y: can´t confirm it yet tough
N: really? what is it?
N: please say RE5 for the Wii :P
Y: lol, sorry, it´s not RE news
Y: but it´s pretty cool
Y: ****** told me they ended negotiating a deal with ninty last month
Y: to have megaman at ssbb
N: O_O
Y: i know!
N: That´s awesome
N: when are they announcing it?
Y: dunno. soon i guess.
Y: but since it took them a really long time to negotiate they might have to push the realease date even more.

Ok, before you start the flaming in the comments, you should know by now i don´t like to publish rumors and that this is the same source that gave me the RE5 details i published on my other blog before the first trailer was shown and who also told me about umbrella chronicles a few days before the game was officially announced, so i have no reason not to trust him.

According to the good old wikipedia, this is not the first time Capcom licenses the megaman character rights to other companies wich apparently is what they will be doing this time.

Harvey Birdman coming to the Wii

By Nintendude under Harvey Birdman, Capcom, Wii

harvey_birdman.jpegGames about lawyers, who knew the would be so popular? I blame shows like Justice and Close to home for that.

If you want to make a case with your Wii soon you will be able to because Capcom just announced they are bringing Harvey Birdman to the console.

The game was previously announced as a PS2/PSP exclusive title The only difference with these will be the price tag tough, while the PSX version will cost $29.99, the Wii one will go for $39.99 and will be released on November 13th.
