Another ratings controversy: Killer 7 this time

By Nintendude under Killer 7, Gaming News

We all have heard about the “hot coffe” controversy and how people managed to take advantage of videogames popularity to appear on tv. In the end, GTA got an AO rating and i think we all knew it wouldn´t end there.

Florida attourney, Jack Thompson who has been involved in several cases against videogames has new target: Killer7. He´s made a petition to the ESRB to change Killer 7´s rating form M (Mature) to AO.

i Think it´s ok to give the games an AO rating if they deserve it but is there something in Killer 7 that might offend a 17+ year old? I don´t think so.

I think we´ll be seeing more on this on the next daysso stay tuned. IGN has excerpts from the e-mail Thompson sent to Patricia Vance, president of the ESRB.

Killer 7 reviews

Here´s an excerpt from our killer 7´s review we posted on July 8, 2005:

“It´s not a secret that this game is visually stunning, you can take a look at the screenshots and see Capcom did a good job with the cel shaded style wich was a major concern when they first showed it since this style usually gets linked with less mature games. I think there´s some room for graphics improvement but it is a really refreshing style for this kind of games.”

Killer 7 review

Kaede Killer 7Killer 7 has been pretty much the most waited gamecube game in a long time and this is not just because of the lack of gamecube launches in the last months.

I got our hands at this game and this are my first impressions.

The controls are kinda weird when you first start playing and for what i´ve been reading i´m not the only one who noticed this. It takes a while to get used to it but once you do it you really start enjoying the game.

There´s not a lot to say abou the sound, it´s not spectacular but it´s ok, works well with the flow of the game.
