There are lots of mods out there that let you change the light on your Wii DVD slot but most of them require you to either be a hardcore modder or to break your warranty. Talismoon´s solution is called Wii Gate and for only $7.95 promises a kit that will enable anyone to change the light color without any of those issues. It comes in green and red and if it works i´m sure they will launch more colors soon.
I know you don´t know what to do with those extra $25k you have. How about getting a gold game boy with diamonds and everything. Sounds nice eh? If you are not Paris Hilton i don´t know why would you want buy a 18K solid gold old school game boy but who cares, it´s still pretty cool. The thing weighs around 27 ounces. And you tought your regular grey non-shiny gb was heavy.

We´ve heard about this mod before but it´s finally been released. A guy made this really cool cel shaded mod for the original The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time and it looks amazing.
You need an emulator and a copy of the game for the game to work. You also have to apply the textures wich can be troublesome.

Throw away your DS, PSP and even the micro. Here´s the coolest portable console ever, the NES micro!. A guy with a lot of free time named Ben Heckerndorm has built this portable NES system.
Ok maybe it´s not that portable and you will need some extra space for the cartridges but it is the coolest NES mod we´ve seen in a while.

Nope, i didn´t say headset, this is a NES Bluetooth handset and is one of the less usable mods i´ve seen, i mean, NES controller mods are really cool but what´s next? the NES controller juice maker?
When someone calls you to your cellphone or via VoIP you have to press start on your NES controller to start talking while the A and B buttons control the volume.

Don´t you just love Mods? I think it´s great to see how far people´s imagination goes when they build something on a totally different case.
This is a really cool mod, it´s a tv remote built into a NES controller. A lot of buttons were left out but who cares when you can change the channel with this old school gaming controller.

If you are tired of your old classic mouse and you miss the feeling of the old NES controller this is exactly what you need. This man turned his mouse into a NES controller.
The A and B Buttons are for clicking and he changed the cord to plug it via USB port.
I´m sure it is cool to surf the web with your NES controller but i´m sure it won´t be so much fun when your hand starts to hurt after a few hours of use.

A guy apparently named Cristopher got really bored at his job and decide to skin his DS to look like an old first generation game boy. I think this woulnd´t be exactly considered as a mod but it is pretty damn cool. Check out the full set of pictures
