When did Namco started devolping this? because it look really awesome. Tales of Innocence is the new installment on the “Tales of” series and is coming to the DS this winter, at least in Japan. I´m praying already for this game to come to this side of the world as soon as possible.
Finally! after a really long wait rumor has it Nintendo has been showing a small demo of the next Golden Sun game for the Nintendo DS.
According to joystiq, the game was showed at a pre-E3 show and keeps using the semi 3D gameplay style. The storyline starts where the last Golden Sun ended so it might be time to get the dust off your copy and start playing it again.
No word on when the game will be available or if it will be shown to the press during this E3.

Ds-x2 published some boxart images from some games wich are launching on the next few months including Super Princess Peach and Final Fantasy IV for the gba.

Nintendo revealed some figures regarding the first week of sales for Mario Kart DS and let me tell you, the game is a total hit.
Beth Lewellyn, NOA Senior Director of Public Relations said this about the MKDS results:
“We are ecstatic with the results, and this definitely sets the standard for future Wi-Fi online gaming,Mario Kart should easily be a million seller in its life cycle, and we’d love for everyone with the game to touch the Wi-Fi experience. We’ve got Animal Crossing just around the corner, and Metroid Prime Hunters next year, with more to come.”
According to Nintendo the game has sold over 112,000 copies and 45% of the buyers have at least tried the wi fi connection. Great numbers for a first week, with the european release this week the numbers will go even higher.

Those were the exact words Reggie told to CNN when he was interviewed last week. It means we can expect to see a Game Boy SP like redesign for the DS. Joystiq has started a mock-up compilation and some of the ideas are great. For example the picture looks interesting. This design would protect both screens but it would allow a thinner and lighter overall design. You can find the full gallery in this post.
Don´t you hate japanese gamers? I know i do and don´t get me wrong, i hate them just because they get a lot of cool stuff wich never sees the light on this part of the world.
Toys R´ Us of Japan has started to sell this Gold version of the Nintendo DS. There is no word on wheter this color would be released on american stores or not but i wouldn´t get my hopes up since all the extra colors for the handheld on America are being sold only with the Nintendogs and MKDS bundles.
If you like this version, remember that the DS is region free wich means that if you are willing to pay the shipping, you can import one and play all your DS games without a single problem.
