Finally some Pokemon Diamond and Pearl news, the japanese magazine CoroCoro will be running an offer with their January issue. Apparently, a lucky fan will be able to get a unique ticket with his copy and he will get both versions of the game for free on the release day and he will have the chance to suggest some ideas to the developers and see them incorporated into the final version of the game.

I think online capabilities for this game are going to be added anyway so suggesting that might not be useful, i would ask them to get rid of all the contests and mini-games stuff and focus more on the in-battle gameplay and experience.

Worth 1000 is running a pokemon photoshop contest, the idea is that you have to show how would a real pokemon would look like. Some of the entries are amazing, i specially like the cubone and poliwhirl ones. Check out the full gallery by following the link, there are 62 entries to the contest so far.

Nintendo of Japan has launched the official pokemon mysterious dungeon minisite. There´s not a lot to see, just a few screenshots wich you probably have already seen if you´ve been following this game and some artwork.

If you are like me and don´t know japanese, check out the translation of the information page, as usual, this is not a great translation but it can give you a general idea of what the game is about.

Wow, a lot of pokémon news lately. Now we have the first look at Pokémon ranger, the upcoming DS game where you will be taking the role of well… a pokémon ranger and save the day by helping some of the 386 monsters.

From the scan, we can tell the game will have a simulated 3d perspective and looks like it will have some RPG elements.

Right from the pages of Pokémon Daisuki Club, a quarterly japanese mag, this scans give us a better idea of what Pokémon dungeon of mystery is about. The japanase release date for this game is November 17th.

A Game boy micro special edition will be launched on November 17th, at least on Japan, as you can see in the picture, this micro will feature pikachu right above the main buttons, it´s not as cool as the n64 pikachu edition but i´m sure a lot of pokémon fans will be getting it.

I´ts been a month since the gbm launched in Japan and over 200,000 have been sold, this are great news for Nintendo considering that they are actually selling a new version of a pretty old but still fun console.

It is unknown if the pikachu edition micro will be released on the US.

Pokémon Diamond and pearl were delayed until 2006 but you won´t miss the Pocket Monsters for so long, there are a lot of Pokémon games coming soo. The latest issue of Comic Korokoro features some info on these new 3 announced games and also some details on Pokémon Rangers wich was already announced.

First we have Pokemon Torouze, a puzzle for the DS where the pieces are 380 of the existing pokémons. The mechanics of the game look pretty simple, you just have to align 4 pieces of the same kind yo erase them, pretty much like every other single puzzle game out there. There´s going to be a history mode where you will take the role of Lucy Lightfoot and rescue pokémons from an evil organisation and of course the multiplayer mode where the fun will begin. The game hits Japan on October 20th and i hope it´s as fun as Pokémon Puzzle.

Next we have Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon Blue for the DS and Pokemon Fushigi no Dungeon Blue for the GBA, details were not given about these games but apparently it will be some kind of action RPG.

Additionally we have the first details on Pokémon Ranger coming next year right before Diamond and Pearl versions and will feature some kind of interaction with these games. Here you will take the role of a Pokémon Ranger (surprised?) and your mission will be work to protect the natural enviroment, save some pokémon in danger and some of the stuff we´ve seen this people do on the tv series.
